PUKALANI REAL ESTATE

Pukalani Real Estate

The name Pukalani means “Hole in the Heaven”.  Cooler climate, convenience and reasonably affordable homes are why many Mauians call Pukalani home.  As Maui became a popular destination for island living, Pukalani grew into an outlaying suburb starting in the late 1970’s.  Nearby is the famous Pukalani Superette “Puk-Sup”, Pukalani Terrace Shopping Center, the Mayor Hannibal Tavares Upcountry Community Center and public pool facility and a beautiful 18-hole golf course. Kamehameha Schools, Carden Academy and several public schools are just minutes away.

Located at an elevation ranging from 1,200 to 2,500 feet above sea level, Pukalani is a bit drier than both Makawao and Haiku with rainfall averaging 40” a year.  A drive to Kahului Airport will take approximately 20 minutes. Upcountry Pukalani homes may vary from modest structures to golf course estates.
